Laurus Homes to build 215 new homes in Winsford

Laurus Homes are about to start work on a new housing development in Winsford, called Weaver Meadows and is situated on Rilshaw Lane just south of the town centre. The development will see a mix of two to five-bedroom homes being built, which will be available for sale and rent with affordable housing options including Shared Ownership available.
Great location
Located in a good catchment area for highly rated primary and secondary schools, Weaver Meadows is also close to a good range of amenities including supermarkets and Winsford Cross Shopping Centre.
For commuters, Weaver Meadows will suit well as the motorway network close by and the mainline railway station is adjacent to the development. The development should prove attractive with both young professionals looking to make their first step onto the property ladder and families in the surrounding area.
Countryside views
Although being close to local amenities and transport links, Weaver Meadows is will placed for countryside views and walks. Winsford Flash country park is next door to the development, offering residents easy access to walking and cycling routes and even fishing spots.
Quality partnership
The homes are the latest from the joint venture between Trafford Housing Trust (THT), parent company of Laurus Homes, and London housing association L&Q and will be built by contractor Lane End Developments Construction (LEDC).
The population of Winsford continues to expand, which is why the development at Winsford constitutes our largest development to date at 215 new homes in our joint venture with L&Q.
